Introduction
The Secretariat of the Tropical Forest Alliance is soliciting proposals from public relations creative agencies working in Latin America, preferably based in Bogota, Colombia to support with Media Engagement and event public relations during the Alliance’s Annual Meeting which will take place in Bogota 6 May 2019 to 7 May 2019. The agency must be available to provide support pre, during and post the event.
Proposals should be submitted by end of day 15 March 2019. Proposals received at later date may not be considered.
Context
Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA) is a global multistakeholder partnership working to remove deforestation from global commodity supply chains, focusing on palm oil, beef, soy, and pulp and paper. The Alliance convenes over 150 partners from around the world representing government, the private sector and civil society and aims to foster collaborative action and catalyze partnerships to help companies achieve zero-deforestation commitments. The Secretariat of TFA is hosted at the World Economic Forum in the Geneva and is funded by the Governments of Norway, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
Deliverables
Media Engagement/Outreach
Support with:
- Identifying and engaging targeted media to become aware of TFA event
- Pitch to relevant media to cover the event and TFA work in general
- Social Media engagement (content production and execution)
- We welcome other suggestions; execution will depend on budget
Press Briefing
- Support press briefing at event and offline
- Prepare and execute press conference
- Schedule follow up interviews as necessary
- We welcome other suggestions; execution will depend on budget
Media Monitoring
- Print, online and social media channels monitored
- Complete report of media tracking and coverage
Content production
- Identify professional photographer and film crew
- Onsite content productions
- Professional writers to conduct interviews and capture key messages and content
Specifications: English/Spanish writers if possible/ or translation
Timeline: Main event: 6-7 May 2019 (Pre, during and post event support)
Submission Guidelines
Interested PR creative agencies should submit a proposal to the TFA Secretariat by email to sharon.anderes@weforum.org. There is no prescribed format for the proposal, but it should include the following information:
- Examples of relevant work
- Clarification of relevant experience and any information on why the agency would be a good fit to work with TFA
- Clarification of the full range of competencies of the agency
- Details and qualifications of the team that would be assigned to this project
- The proposal may include some potential ideas for additional marketing materials
- A budget
